A2SKI Industrial is searching for a dedicated and experienced Operator Lead Hand Foreman hand to join our team at the casino expansion project in Prince Albert. This is a unique full-time role that offers approximately 40 hours per week, providing flexibility while allowing you to apply your operating expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment. The Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations and supervising a team of various personnel to ensure efficient and safe production processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of operational procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Foreman you will be responsible to:
- Supervise construction personnel and coordinate the daily activities with on-site superintendent, ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Operate and manage various types of Powered Mobile Equipment and Excavation machinery, such as Telehandlers, Skid Steers, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Loaders and Mini-Excavators.
- Inspect work areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendent and other forepersons to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Training: Conduct training for new personnel and provide ongoing coaching and development for existing team members.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance and productivity, implementing improvements and corrective actions as needed.
- Communication: Communicates work instructions, project status, and other information to management and on-site personnel.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges and work collaboratively to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and team performance, preparing reports for management as required.
- Safety: Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in Commercial or Industrial Construction.
- Minimum of 5 years in operating machinery.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Proven experience in supervising teams and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrated ability to complete earthworks jobs efficiently and to specification.
- Drug and Alcohol Screening

- Drivers License
