Post -Secondary Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples

Foran Mining Corporation (Foran) is pleased to announce our 2025-2026 Indigenous Scholarship
Program.

The 2025-2026 Indigenous Scholarship Program will provide successful applicants with financial support
for the 2025-2026 school year towards the completion of post-secondary studies that are relevant to
the mining industry. The maximum value of the scholarship is $6,000 Canadian dollars per individual.
Successful applicants will be notified in September 2025 with scholarship funds awarded by October 1,
2025.

Eligibility requirements:
Applicant must be a member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, Cumberland House Cree Nation, or a
Métis Nation - Saskatchewan Eastern Region 1 Local (Cumberland House Métis Local #42, Creighton
Métis Local #89 and Sandy Bay Local #90). Proof of identity will be requested during the review process.

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in an eligible field of study for the 2025-2026 academic
year. Eligible fields of study include those listed below:

• Bachelor of Business or Commerce
• Diploma in Instrumentation Technologist, Mining Engineering Technologist, Environmental
• Technologist, Surveying Technologist, or Geological Technologist
• Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanic, Carpentry, Electrician, Welding, Millwright or Heavy Equipment Operator
• Bachelor of Science (Computer Science, Earth Science, Nursing, Environmental Science, Geology
• or Geophysics)
• Bachelor of Engineering or Applied Science (Mining, Geological, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical or Environmental)

Application Requirements:

• Completed application form
• Official transcripts (under the additional documents section)
• Proof of enrollment in a post-secondary institution for the 2025-2026 year (under the additional documents section)

Incomplete applications will not be considered or evaluated.
