Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking two (2) Safety, Health & Environment Systems Administrators to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.
Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. The Safety, Health & Environment Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, integrity, and continuous improvement of the company’s safety, health, and training systems. This role ensures accurate data capture, reporting, and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, while supporting leaders and employees in the effective use of systems.
The Administrator plays a critical role in enabling strong safety performance by ensuring that leading and lagging indicators, training records, and compliance data are reliable, timely, and actionable. This role is also responsible for administering key employee programs such as the safety boot reimbursement program and Eye Safe program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the company’s safety management system and training systems (EHS Insights, Cority, Success Factors).
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across all safety and training records.
- Configure system updates, workflows, and user access in alignment with business needs.
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with vendors as required.
- Generate and distribute regular safety and training reports (leading and lagging indicators).
- Track performance against targets (e.g., inspections, observations, training compliance).
- Support development of dashboards and metrics for leadership and Board reporting.
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain training matrices and ensure role-based training requirements are current.
- Track employee training completion and compliance.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for training programs (internal and external).
- Support onboarding and orientation training tracking.
- Provide training and guidance to leaders and employees on system use.
- Develop user guides, quick reference materials, and standard processes.
- Support adoption of systems and reinforce consistent data entry practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system effectiveness.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation and records are complete and accessible.
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance tracking.
- Maintain records in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.
- Work closely with site safety, health, and training teams to ensure alignment.
- Act as a central point for data consolidation across departments.
- Support procurement processes for the department.
- Administer the safety boot reimbursement program, including employee inquiries, submission tracking, validation, and coordination with Finance for processing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Eye Safe program, supporting employee questions, claim submissions, and program administration.
- Maintain accurate records for both programs and ensure alignment with company policies and eligibility requirements.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- • 3+ years of experience in safety, health, training coordination, or systems administration.
- • Experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry preferred.
- • Hands-on experience with safety management systems (e.g., EHS Insights, Cority or similar).
- • Strong data management and reporting skills (Excel proficiency required).
- • Understanding of occupational health and safety principles and training compliance.
- • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- • Effective communication and user support skills.
- • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $72,500/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
