ROLE SUMMARY:

Peter Ballantyne Field Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site vehicle repairs and maintenance to customers at their location, offering convenience and high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, a strong customer service focus, and the ability to work independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ·Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs at customer locations, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
  • ·Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
  • ·Communicate effectively with customers to assess their vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of the necessary repairs.
  • ·Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services provided.
  • ·Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • ·Adhere to safety standards and regulations while on the job.
  • ·Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • ·Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology and repair techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ·Proven experience as a mechanic, with a focus on mobile repairs preferred.
  • ·Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • ·ASE certification or similar qualifications are a plus.
  • ·Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of vehicle systems.
  • ·Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • ·Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • ·Flexibility to work in various locations and weather conditions.
  • ·Own tools and a reliable vehicle to transport them is required.
  • ·Minimum 2-5 years of experience.

ROLE CRITERIA:

  • ·Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • ·Safety certificates (WHMIS, SCOT, First Aid, etc.)
  • ·Drivers License
