On Saturday, September 14, 2024, Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation held a special Truth and Reconciliation Gathering at Sturgeon Landing, the site of its former residential school. It was a day full of powerful moments, starting with the drumming by the Warrior Society and ending with survivors sharing their stories.
