About
Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) is a multi-community First Nation consisting of eight (8) communities and has a vast traditional territory within Treaty Six and Treaty Ten. The communities are geographically distant from one another throughout the North Eastern region of Saskatchewan. The Chief and Council govern PBCN for a three year term, the Chief represent all of PBCN while Council member representatives are within each community. Under the direction and authority of the Chief and Council, the head office provides central services, while the communities provide local services. The head office for PBCN is located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and Band Offices are located within the communities.

We envision happy, healthy, and safe independent communities and people. A sustainable Nation with a strong cultural and language which will empower motivate youth and benefit our people and inspires future generations.
Mission
Working together to restructure our governance which utilizes the strengths of our individual communities to effectively advocate for our peoples’ treaty and inherent rights through strong Nation to Nation relationships.
